Giles Armstrong is a Writers’ Guild award-nominated writer, narrative designer and editor for video games. He specialises in devising, developing and delivering world-class stories across all genres and for all audiences.

Giles has worked in the games industry since 2007, with contributions to more than 50 commercial games in various capacities, released across all major games platforms, including multiple games published by Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, Sony Computer Entertainment and Microsoft Studios.

Giles is the Lead Writer on an unannounced project currently in development.

Giles was previously the Senior Scriptwriter on Assassin's Creed Mirage developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux, Senior Scriptwriter on Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarök developed by Ubisoft Sofia, and was the Lead Writer on Destruction AllStars for Lucid Games.

Giles is a full member of BAFTA, has served on multiple BAFTA juries for their Games Awards and for their Young Game Designer Awards, and was a co-founder and co-director of Talespinners, a writing and narrative company dedicated to helping studios, publishers and dev teams of all shapes and sizes to craft their game's story.

His previous projects include the critically-acclaimed Horizon Forbidden West, made by the BAFTA-winning Guerrilla Games; the multi-award-winning Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy developed by Eidos-Montréal, among many other titles including the BAFTA-winning My Child Lebensborn, the TIGA award-winning Velocity 2X, and The Spectrum Retreat - for which Giles received a Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Awards nomination for ‘Best Writing in a Video Game’.
